I was reluctant to watch it due to the lack of common sense in most TV shows today
Scenario
When Ruth Landry, a maple syrup producer, finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a warehouse in Quebec in 2011-2012; five people were sentenced to prison.
Cute characters and light entertainment
But I’m glad I gave it a try. These are 30 minute episodes that are quirky, cheesy, funny, dramatic and engaging.
I watched all 6 episodes and can’t wait to see a second season
A couple of twists to end the series on a high note. I highly recommend watching it and it’s a perfect length that fits right into a half hour show.
The French soundtrack is also appealing
If it had been longer it would have dragged on. I’ll look it up on YouTube Music.
