Rafiki passes on the legend of Mufasa to the young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, and to Timon and Pumbaa, lending his own stick. The story, told in flashbacks, introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka – heir to the royal bloodline. A chance encounter sets in motion…
